Odds on more lunacy from the totalitarian regime.

You know you are in trouble when the nation’s fate rests upon the outcome of a meeting of expert government scientists. A group of career public sector suits who have never had to run anything in their lives but instead peddle their expert predictions and speculation, along the lines of Professor Neil Ferguson’s outstanding prediction that 2+2=500,000 which was a key contributor to the mayhem imposed on the United Kingdom.

These individuals know only risk tolerance and not its counterparty, risk appetite. Both are core and fundamental considerations when evaluating risk but these scientific experts have a currency to trade – fear – and so are only interested in the negativity of risk tolerance: ‘what about a second wave?’ and ‘it’s far too early to be thinking about rationality’ being their pre-programmed narrative, set at ‘Repeat All’.

By now, if you use the detailed analysis from Oxford University’s Evolutionary Ecology of Infectious Disease group – which we have referenced previously here – the majority of the United Kingdom have now had SARS-CoV-2. Had it, with or without developing the symptoms, and recovered.

There is no need for them to remain confined and their continued lockdown serves no purpose other than pandering to the government’s completely incorrect strategy and societal manipulation in support of the government’s lie.

Remember that SARS-CoV-2’s infection cycle is up to 14 days but no more, so with it being Day 23 of the insanity today, there is no justification or need for it to be extended.

Of course it will be as Emperor Wannabe-Winston Johnson can play the victim card, arrogantly believing that just because he had it and was hospitalised (in a piece of grandstanding redolent of Robert Peston’s coverage of the demise of Northern Rock) then he can dictate how everyone else who has had it and wasn’t, should be treated. Emperor Johnson will no doubt be eyeing up the VE-Day 75th anniversary on 8th May and exciting himself at how majestic he will look if he can announce the return of ‘freedom’ at the same time, basking in the reflected glory of wartime victory.

Firstly Emperor, in a democracy freedom is not something you take away and then give back. Secondly, those who died in wartime in the defence of their nation and the concept of democracy emit an indelible glory that you are not worthy to stand anywhere near, let alone in. Ever.

If you look at countries that have responded with lockdown, an interesting pattern emerges. Based upon the latest data from Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center for deaths per 1million population (thereby adjusted for population size), countries & territories with lockdown rank #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #8, #9 & #10. Not only does this indicate fairly conclusively that lockdown does not work but also as the countries occupying the higher positions, i.e. with the highest death rates, have proportionately more restrictive lockdowns, the data further suggests that the more severe the lockdown the more severe the death rate.

The global deaths total is 120,536. This is without any adjustment to filter out deaths with and show only deaths of/from SARS-CoV-2 even if these are also largely inaccurate (as our previous article explains). The actual deaths total will be significantly lower but even if you use the 120,536 figure, it is still 170,000 fewer than the lower range for global deaths annually from seasonal or winter flu.

Allow the general population to get on with life. As the majority of the general population are now likely to have had SARS-CoV-2, this should be the imperative.

Create herd immunity. As per the above point, the threshold for this to be effective is likely to have been reached.

Shield those at high risk as a result of underlying health conditions or compromised immune system.

Protect those at risk of high viral dose and viral load. The death rate in hospital of the sick and of those caring for them is focused upon these factors.
